Ponies After School – School Term Group Riding Lessons
Overdale Riding Centre offers a unique experience of learning pure riding.
Trudy specialises in teaching children how to ride and is known locally as a coach whom instils confidence and resilience. Learning to ride is so much more than we could ever imagine, often a journey of learning about ourselves and that discovery can help set the rider up for future life. Riding is a huge amount of FUN but we do need to balance it with a little hard work to achieve being safe on and around our pony. Naturally intuitive Trudy knows when a rider is comfortable for more progression and when to let them just enjoy where they are at that moment. Truly passionate about her role, you can be guaranteed the correct methods for safety in the saddle are being taught. Always approachable and happy to give parents updates of successes or concerns.

Due to rider safety I recommend starting at 8yrs; the rider is more coordinated, stronger and has a better understanding of instruction. Starting older saves on investment because they learn faster. I am open to younger riders, but they need to be keen.

Holiday Programme
A fun based learning program to enjoy ponies and being on the farm. This can be an exciting holiday treat or to see if the child would like to further their experience with ponies by joining our ponies after school term group lessons.
Private Bookings
Available for birthday parties or special occasions when time allows on weekends.
